A large space right off the street which goes through the Xerta Tapas Bar to its big brother, the Xerta Restaurant, until reaching an inner courtyard surrounded by neighbouring buildings. A quiet terrace for any day of the year. Rooms for meetings, businesses or celebrations. Spaces that contrast fine materials and nooks designed down to the tiniest detail with raw architectural features. Continuity between constantly contrasting spaces.
An urban garden with olive trees and local plants near the most famous artery in the city. A large heated infinity pool which merges with the terraces of the surrounding buildings, and hammocks where the world seems to stop when you’re lying on them.
Welcome to this tiny oasis where you can have an appetiser, a drink at sundown or a cocktail once night falls. A place where you can rest, body and mind, accompanied by the distant hum of the city’s hustle and bustle, and where you can slip into the water any day of the year. Welcome to our terrace.
An open space with clearly delimited areas. Depending on where you enter from, you’ll find the Xerta Tapas Bar. On your right, the reception desk. Straight ahead, the lobby, which is divided into two levels: on the lower level are armchairs where waiting won’t seem long, and on the upper level is our bar-café, where you can enjoy the bartender’s cocktail-making skill. And in the back, the entrance to our Michelin-star winning Xerta Restaurant.
“Ceramic is one of the richest materials in the history of humanity. In conjunction with the IAAC, we engraved a texture on 800 unique ceramic pieces based on Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, recomposed by Max Richter with the assistance of a robot following an algorithm. These are unique pieces with the singular feature that if needed, we could recreate them. These projects make our profession wonderful.”
Ceràmica Cumella is known for carrying out such impressive projects as the roof of the Santa Caterina market in Barcelona and participating in the restoration of Parc Güell. Without its vision of ceramic related to architecture, giving Ohla Eixample all the meaning we wanted to give it would have been impossible.
There is a time for everything, but there’s nothing like finding the perfect combination. We have spaces designed to welcome you in both your corporate events and meetings and in your private celebrations.
