Few restaurants have managed in such a short time to have their own voice on the Barcelona scene. And even fewer have such a clear and honest discourse as Xerta.
Xerta Restaurant invites you to discover the authentic flavors of the Terres de l'Ebre through a menu that combines sea and mountain products. A proposal that respects and takes the market produce to its highest level. Rice, eel, fish and shellfish, game and meats from the Ebro lands. Contemporary creations with a touch of Asia and French nouvelle cuisine.
The tasting menus, renewed every season, give a narrative meaning to a memorable dining experience. Officially certified by the Jewish community, Xerta is the first and only restaurant in Europe to offer kosher cuisine at its highest level.
The gourmet tasting menu, which is updated each season, gives a narrative meaning to a memorable gastronomic experience. Order it with our wine pairings developed specifically to offer a full experience. Or if you prefer to order your own meal, you will not be disappointed by the menu.
Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday.
Closed Sunday and Monday.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Ebro River and Japan come together to create a unique dining experience in Barcelona. Kintsugi is the new Japanese restaurant at Ohla Eixample, an innovative concept that blends the best local produce with one of the world’s most delicate, exquisite cuisines.
The essence of Kintsugi is its unique personality. Its signature cuisine is based on a fusion of traditional ingredients from Terres de l’Ebre, such as sea urchin, bobtail squid, blue crab and oysters, with the culinary techniques from this Asian country. This brings us an innovative style prepared by top artisan masters to be enjoyed with all five senses.
Located in the hall at the Ohla Eixample hotel, Kintsugi has space for 50 diners in different seating areas: at the bar, outside and at tables inside. A slow-food concept that is perfect to share and pair with the restaurant’s special wine list, featuring over 500 references.

A complete buffet with local products and carefully chosen fruit, in addition to a menu with all kinds of eggs (poached, scrambled, omelettes, fried, etc.). Come down with plenty of time, grab a newspaper and take all the time in the world to linger over breakfast.
Craft a made-to-order breakfast: from a classic continental breakfast with eggs, bacon and toast to the healthiest choices with fruit and premium local dairy products, or perhaps a traditional Catalan breakfast with farmhouse sausages, bread spread with tomato and virgin olive oil from the lands near the Ebro River.
